〓t is agreed between sitr james stirling, knight, teat admital, and commander-in-chief of, convention for regulating the admissio of british, the ships and vessels of her btitannic majesty in the east indies and seas adjacent, and, ratifications exchancedat aasaki,october9,1855, the rules and regulations of each of these ports are to be complied with., 2.nagasaki shail be open fot the purposes aforesaid from and after the present date, and, ordered by his imperial highness the emperor of japan to act herein, that-, mezi-no chekftusno kami, obmiyo of nagasaki, and nagai evan ocho, omedski of nagasaki,, 3.only ships in distress from weather,ot unmatageable, will be permitted to enter other, ports than those specified in the foregoing articles, without petmission ftom the imperial, hakodadi ftom and after the end of fifty days from the admiral's departure from this port., 1.the ports of nagasaki (fisen) and hakodadi (matsmai) shall be open to british ships, of any sotrt they may absolutely want for the tuse of the ships., ships nto the potts of japan., ships nto tbe potts of japan., 安政元年三月三日, 六二九
